Crystal: Ships, suites and 2026–2027 sailings

Two refitted ships, almost everything included · Crystal Serenity · Crystal Symphony · Crystal Grace from 2028

Crystal is the most inclusive line in this tier: drinks, gratuities and a butler come with every room, on two ships of 606 and 740 guests.

A&K Travel Group bought the Crystal name in 2022 and relaunched its two flagships after a refit. Crystal Serenity carries 740 guests in 402 rooms and suites; Crystal Symphony carries 606 in 330. Every room has an ocean view. A new ship, Crystal Grace, is being built at Fincantieri for 650 guests and is due to debut on 11 June 2028, and Crystal has contracted a third for 2034.

The fare covers wines, champagne, spirits and soft drinks from Crystal's own selection, all tips and gratuities, unlimited Wi-Fi, 24-hour in-suite dining, the minibar, and a butler in every suite and guest room, not just the top categories. You also get at least one dinner at Umi Uma, the only Nobu restaurant at sea, and one at Osteria d'Ovidio, more on longer voyages, and Beefbar is complimentary. The Vintage Room, caviar, Kobe and Wagyu, premium Wi-Fi and spa treatments are extra.

It sits in our premium tier rather than beside Regent or Silversea because of the ships: these are big ships by the standard of this site, the entry rooms are ocean-view rooms without a veranda, there is a casino run with Monte-Carlo SBM, and children from six months old are welcome, with a junior programme on select voyages. If you want a hundred-guest yacht, this is the wrong line. If you want a large ship where almost nothing is signed for, that is what Crystal is built to do.

If you love the Aman or Four Seasons way of doing things on land, the suite is where Crystal earns it. From the Aquamarine Suite up you get a walk-in wardrobe and pressing; the Sapphire Suite adds a separate living room and laundry; the Penthouse Suite brings unlimited specialty dining.

Fares are per person at double occupancy, in US dollars, the lowest category Crystal showed for each departure on 9 October 2026, with destination fees (taxes and port charges) included, as Crystal prints them. Six of the eight carried Crystal's Sail & Save offer that day, and the figure is the offer price. Fares move as categories sell; we confirm what is open on your dates.

Booking this line

Book early for the summer Mediterranean and Northern Europe weeks. Tell us which ship: Serenity is the larger, with more venues; Symphony is smaller. We place the suite, get the Umi Uma and Osteria reservations in as soon as they open, and arrange flights and hotels either side of the voyage.

Questions, answered

What is the best Crystal booking offer?

Judge any offer on what reaches you per suite. Booking through Via Privata, sailings of USD 40,000 or more carry a USD 1,500 onboard credit from us, on top of whatever the line itself is running for your dates and the consortium amenities the sailing qualifies for — at the same fare you would pay booking direct. Eligible sailings also carry Virtuoso amenities of USD 125 to 250 per person depending on cruise length, and below USD 40,000 those are what booking through us adds. We confirm in writing exactly which benefits your dates carry before you commit.

What does a Crystal fare include?

Wines, champagne, spirits and soft drinks from Crystal's selection, all tips and gratuities, butler service in every suite and room, unlimited standard Wi-Fi, 24-hour in-suite dining, a stocked minibar, Beefbar, and at least one dinner each at Umi Uma and Osteria d'Ovidio, more on longer voyages. Penthouse categories get unlimited specialty dining. The Vintage Room, caviar, Kobe and Wagyu, premium Wi-Fi and spa treatments are extra.

Why is Crystal in your premium tier?

Because of the ships rather than the service. Crystal Serenity carries 740 guests and Crystal Symphony 606, the entry rooms have a window rather than a veranda, there is a casino, and children are welcome from six months old. The inclusions are close to the all-inclusive lines: drinks, gratuities and a butler in every room. For a smaller, all-suite ship, look at Regent, Silversea or Seabourn.

Crystal Serenity or Crystal Symphony?

Serenity is the larger: 740 guests, 402 rooms and suites, ten dining venues, and the only ship with the Crystal Owner's Suite after her 2028 dry dock. Symphony carries 606 guests in 330 rooms and suites, with nine dining venues. Crystal Grace, for 650 guests, joins in June 2028.

Can we bring children, and is there a dress code?

Yes on both. The minimum age is six months at embarkation, anyone under 18 must sail with an adult over 21, and Crystal runs a junior activities programme on select voyages. Days are casual; after 6pm the code is Evening Resort, with some Formal Evenings, and Crystal asks for no shorts or flip-flops in public rooms after six.
