Should you insure the trip? Here is how we handle it
We don't sell insurance. We point you to two insurers through our host agency, Fora Travel, and you pay their own price.
Which route is yours
It depends on where you live.
You live in the United States
Faye sells to residents of the United States, in every state. It does not sell to residents of the US Virgin Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, American Samoa or Puerto Rico.
The link opens Faye's quote page, which shows Albina Sharapova as your advisor (Agency: ForaTravel). You pick the plan and pay Faye directly.
You live anywhere else
If you live outside the United States, Albina quotes cover for the trip she booked for you through Arch RoamRight. Tell her your country of residence and the amount you want covered.
There's no self-service link for this route. Albina prices the cover herself in Arch RoamRight's advisor portal, so add your travel dates when you write and she'll reply with the quote.

Emergency medical
Up to $250,000
Primary cover, so you don't have to claim from your own health insurance first.
Medical evacuation
Up to $500,000
Getting you to the nearest hospital that can treat you, if you fall ill or get hurt on the trip.
Non-medical evacuation
Up to $100,000
Getting you out when a natural disaster or a security emergency means you have to leave.
Cancel For Any Reason add-on
75% of the non-refundable cost
Optional. Cancel for any reason at least 48 hours before departure and get that share back. It has to be bought within 14 days of your first deposit.

Why Faye, in our experience
Most of Faye happens in its app. You file a claim there, and the reimbursement is paid to the wallet on your phone.
If something goes wrong mid-trip, Faye's assistance team is in the same app, at any hour of the day or night.
The app also sends flight alerts, and its telemedicine service lets you talk to a doctor from wherever you're staying.

When to buy
14 days
from your first trip deposit
Buy within 14 days of your first trip deposit. That's the window for Faye's pre-existing conditions cover and for the Cancel For Any Reason add-on.
So we send the link in the same message that confirms your booking with us, while the window is open.
You can still buy later, as long as it's before you leave. Faye doesn't sell cover once the trip has started, and it insures one trip at a time.

Albina confirms each booking to you in writing, as she always does.
The link arrives with the confirmation
If you live in the US, the Faye link is in that same message. If you live anywhere else, Albina offers to quote Arch RoamRight cover for the trip.
You buy in about a minute
Faye's quote takes about a minute and you pay Faye directly. On the Arch RoamRight route, Albina sends you the quote and you decide.
Albina is happy to answer questions about the process, such as which route is yours or where to find the link. She doesn't advise on cover. What you buy is your decision, and the policy wording governs.

If you live in the US, the Faye quote takes about a minute. Anywhere else, Albina quotes it for you.
