Orient Express Corinthian
The world's largest sailing yacht · Corinthian — launched May 2026
Orient Express Corinthian is a 220-metre sailing yacht, built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique at Saint-Nazaire, named on 29 April 2026 and sailed from the yard on 2 May 2026 bound for the Mediterranean. Three carbon masts carry rigid Solid Sails of 1,500 square metres each; air draft is close to 100 metres. Seven decks, a beam of 25.2 metres, more than 16,000 tonnes.
Fifty-four suites, 110 guests and 170 crew — Orient Express puts the ratio at close to 1.5 crew per guest, and every suite has a butler. Dining runs across eight restaurants under the direction of Yannick Alléno, the principal room being La Table de l'Orient-Express, with glasswork by Emmanuel Barrois. Le SPA by Guerlain, La Marina at the stern, Le Wagon Bar, a lap pool and a recording studio fill the rest.
The distinction from her nearest rivals is literal. Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton went to sea in motor yachts; Corinthian sails, and the rigs are propulsion rather than decoration. The other real difference is the length of a voyage. The published Mediterranean programme runs from two to fourteen nights, but most departures sit at the short end — two, three or four nights, which suits a yacht leg bolted onto a land trip better than it suits a fortnight afloat.
A second yacht, Orient Express Olympian, is announced, and Orient Express says she will make her first journeys in summer 2027. She carries no guests yet, so anything offered for her today is sold on a plan. For now the fleet is one hull, and the fare covers more than most at this level — dining, wines and spirits, laundry, gratuities, Wi-Fi, private transfers and, on most voyages, the shore programme — though La Table, select wines and spirits and spa treatments are charged separately.

Orient Express Olympian
First journeys summer 2027
ANNOUNCED, NOT SAILING. Orient Express says Olympian is set to embark on her first journeys in summer 2027. The operator publishes no guest count, suite count or specification for her, and no itineraries have been confirmed to us — she is a second hull in build, not a ship carrying guests.

Agatha Christie
2,422 sq ft, plus a 1,938 sq ft terrace
One of six Penthouse Suites and the one people ask for by name. Two bedrooms with king beds, a marble bath, a fitness room and a terrace with a jacuzzi. The largest private outdoor space on the yacht by a wide margin.
Zephyr
2,486 sq ft, plus a 1,206 sq ft terrace
The largest interior of the six Penthouse Suites, marginally ahead of Agatha Christie but with a smaller terrace. Named for a wind, as are the other four penthouses: Meltem, Libeccio, Sirocco and Mistral.
Suite Duplex
1,324 sq ft, plus a 205 sq ft terrace
The largest of the Signature Suites, on two levels as the name says. It gives up terrace space rather than interior room to the penthouse tier, which makes it the value pick at the top of the ship.
Suite Terrasse
463 sq ft, plus a 161 sq ft terrace
The smallest category with private outdoor space, and where most couples land. A Suite Terrasse Prestige is the same idea at 752 sq ft with a 269 sq ft terrace.
Suite Panoramique
506 sq ft
No terrace, panoramic windows instead — and larger inside than a Suite Terrasse. That is the trade the two entry categories set against each other: floor area or open air. Suite Panoramique Supérieure is published at the same 506 sq ft, Suite Panoramique Prestige at 764 sq ft.

The principal restaurant, under the direction of Yannick Alléno, with sculptural glasswork by Emmanuel Barrois. Orient Express says dining runs across eight restaurants in total, so this is the anchor rather than the only room. Note that Orient Express lists La Table as fine dining charged separately rather than covered by the fare.
Le Wagon Bar
The bar that carries the train reference across to the yacht, and the social room the operator names most often in its own copy.
Le SPA by Guerlain
Published at 500 m², with two single treatment rooms, a VIP room and a couples suite, plus hammam, sauna and movement classes. The Guerlain partnership also runs through the programming — the October 2026 transatlantic crossing was sold as a wellness retreat with the house. Treatments themselves are not included in the fare.
La Marina
The stern platform. Windsurfing, kayaking, snorkelling, paddleboarding, wing foiling and Tiwal dinghies, with nautical instruction part of the fare.
Le Salon de Musique
A performance room and a working recording studio, with piano, drums and guitars. Studio access is included, which is not a sentence you write about many ships.
Les Mousses
The children's space, described by Orient Express as dedicated to family sailings. Confirm it is staffed on your specific departure before you build a trip around it.

The inaugural season opened in May 2026 and the published 2026 Mediterranean departures ran to mid-October, calling in France, Italy, Croatia, Monaco, Spain, Portugal, Malta, Morocco and Montenegro. Venice, Dubrovnik, Rome, Marseille, Monte-Carlo, Palma, Valletta and Málaga all appear on the published list, including a three-night sailing from Monte-Carlo, 23 to 26 September 2026, timed to the Monaco Yacht Show.
Transatlantic
October
One crossing links Lisbon and the Caribbean via Ponta Delgada in the Azores. In 2026 it ran 14 nights, 12 to 26 October, published as Ocean Rebirth, a Transatlantic Wellness Retreat with Guerlain.
Caribbean
Late October onward
Saint-Barth and the Lesser Antilles over the northern winter — Antigua, Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Lucia and St Vincent, with Gustavia, Marigot, Falmouth Harbour and San Juan on the published calls. The season opens where the crossing ends: the first published Caribbean departure is the three-night Antilles Escape from Bridgetown on 26 October 2026.
Northern Europe
July and August 2027
Now a dated programme rather than an intention: eight voyages are published between 4 July and 27 August 2027, from five to eleven nights, working the Atlantic coast and the North between Lisbon, Bordeaux, Copenhagen and London.

Booking this line
Fifty-four suites is a small inventory for a yacht this publicised, so nine to twelve months ahead is the sensible lead time, and longer for the six Penthouse Suites. For most people the target is an Appartement or a Suite Terrasse — private outdoor space without the penthouse commitment. Voyages are short, so we usually build a land stay either side. We hold the suite, arrange the transfers Orient Express includes, and confirm in writing which Destination Experiences apply to your sailing before anything is paid.

What does the fare include?
More than most at this level. Orient Express sells the voyage as all-inclusive: butler service in every suite, dining across the restaurants, fine wines, spirits and beverages, in-suite dining, laundry, the cinema, library, game room and recording studio, hammam and sauna, the marina platform with its water toys and nautical instruction, high-speed Wi-Fi via Starlink, and private transfers with airport welcome and luggage handling. Gratuities and tipping are included. Destination Experiences ashore are included except on selected voyages. What is not included: flights, hotel and rail arrangements, spa treatments, La Table fine dining and a select list of wines and spirits. We confirm the exclusions in writing before you commit.
Is Corinthian actually sailing, and is there a second yacht?
Corinthian is sailing. She was named at Chantiers de l'Atlantique on 29 April 2026 and left Saint-Nazaire on 2 May 2026 for her first Mediterranean season. A sister, Orient Express Olympian, is announced, and Orient Express says she will make her first journeys in summer 2027 — not yet carrying guests, and the operator publishes no specification for her. Anything offered on Olympian today is being sold ahead of delivery, and we would say so before you paid a deposit.
Which suite should we book?
It comes down to whether outdoor space matters more than floor area. A Suite Terrasse gives you a private terrace at 463 sq ft; a Suite Panoramique gives you 506 sq ft behind panoramic windows and no terrace. The Appartement categories add both, and the Suite Duplex sits at the top of the Signature tier on two levels. The six Penthouse Suites — Agatha Christie, Zephyr, Meltem, Libeccio, Sirocco and Mistral — are the ones that go first.
When is the best time to sail?
The Mediterranean season carries the warm months. The published 2026 programme ran from the May debut to a final departure on 12 October, taking in Venice and the Adriatic, Rome, Provence and the Riviera, with a three-night sailing from Monte-Carlo timed to the Monaco Yacht Show. The yacht then crosses to the Caribbean, where the season opens with a three-night departure from Bridgetown on 26 October 2026 and runs through the winter around Saint-Barth and the Lesser Antilles. Northern Europe follows in July and August 2027, between Lisbon, Bordeaux, Copenhagen and London.
