Aman at Sea
Aman, afloat · Amangati — launching spring 2027
Amangati is Aman's first ship, and she has not sailed yet. The name is Sanskrit for peaceful motion, and Aman has her setting sail from spring 2027 — so everything below is what the operator publishes, not what anyone has experienced. Forty-seven suites, ninety-four guests, nine decks, designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Every suite has a private terrace, ceilings reaching up to 2.5 metres and full-height windows, and the interiors take their cue from the quiet harmony of a Japanese ryokan home.
Aman names eight dining and lounge venues aboard: Alira for Mediterranean cooking, Akari for washoku, Hiori for teppanyaki, the Aman Grill and The Bar at Aman Grill, a Cigar Lounge, The Jazz Club, and a Private Dining Room for up to 10. The Aman Spa carries eight ocean-facing treatment suites, each with its own terrace and whirlpool bath, alongside a banya, a hammam, a Medi Spa and a Yoga & Meditation Deck with two shallow Sea Pools. There is a 16-metre pool, and a marina whose two platform wings float on the water.
The fare is where Amangati parts company with its neighbours. Aman's published inclusion list covers all-day dining at Alira, in-suite breakfast on request, light bites, the Gelateria, non-alcoholic drinks and beer, Starlink Wi-Fi, the marina and its water toys, the pools, the Fitness Studio, the Cinema, the Youth Lounge and all onboard gratuities. It stops there: Akari, Hiori, the Aman Grill, spa treatments and Shore Experiences are not on it, and Aman adds that items of a personal nature and select premium experiences may incur charges. Read the list before you compare fares.
It will suit the Aman regular first — someone who already knows the house language and wants it at ninety-four guests rather than four hundred. Children are welcome from six months, the dress code is Yacht Casual, and Aman at Sea offers private charters and group events.
The ships
Amangati
Announced — sailing from spring 2027 · 94 guests in 47 suites
ANNOUNCED, NOT YET SAILING. Aman at Sea's inaugural yacht, designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design across nine decks, with a private terrace on every suite. Aman at Sea publishes one yacht. Nothing here is a guest report — it is what Aman publishes ahead of the first season.
The suites
Aman Suite
354 sq m (3,810 sq ft)
Aman calls it Amangati's signature suite, and it is the largest category published, with an in-suite massage room and a sweeping terrace with a private whirlpool bath. Located aft on Deck 5, and may be combined with a Premier Suite for a two-bedroom enclave.
Grand Suite
102 sq m (1,098 sq ft)
Two spacious rooms, with sweeping terraces leading to bow-facing views.
Signature Suite
80.6 to 85.2 sq m (868 to 917 sq ft)
Aman describes these as defined by light, with bespoke craftsmanship between interior and horizon. The sensible target for most parties.
Premier Suite
60.1 to 73.9 sq m (647 to 795 sq ft)
Takes adjoining accommodation to make a two- or three-bedroom retreat. Two forward suites, port and starboard, are named Premier Fore Suite and run to 66.3 sq m (713 sq ft).
Deluxe Suite
60.7 to 65.3 sq m (653 to 703 sq ft)
Open-plan living, and may be combined with adjacent suites for two- or three-bedroom accommodation.
What the fare includes
The question every enquiry opens with. What follows is what the line itself publishes as included — we confirm it against your exact sailing before you commit.
- All-day dining at Alira, the Mediterranean restaurant, with in-suite breakfast daily on request, light bites through the day, and the Gelateria.
- Non-alcoholic beverages and beer, with personalised beverage replenishment in the suite.
- On-demand Suite Host, twice-daily housekeeping, unpacking and packing assistance, and daily laundry and pressing.
- Starlink Wi-Fi.
- The marina platform and water toys, the pools and sun loungers, and access to the Fitness Studio.
- Cinema, Youth Lounge, and onboard entertainment and enrichment programming.
- All onboard gratuities.
- Not on Aman's published inclusion list: Akari, Hiori and the Aman Grill; alcoholic drinks other than beer; Aman Spa treatments; Shore Experiences. Aman at Sea does not arrange air travel, and says transfer rates vary by destination. Aman adds that items of a personal nature, select premium experiences and certain bespoke arrangements may incur additional charges.
On board
Alira
The relaxed, open-air Mediterranean restaurant. The only restaurant on Aman's published fare-inclusion list, which covers all-day dining here — which makes it the ship's centre of gravity.
Akari
Rooted in washoku, the Japanese culinary tradition honoured by UNESCO. The menu moves between classic dishes and a signature omakase.
Hiori
Teppanyaki, which Aman describes as energetic yet intimate.
Aman Grill
An homage to cooking by fire, with The Bar at Aman Grill alongside it for smoke-forward cocktails and barrel-aged whiskies.
The Jazz Club
Live music and craft cocktails, inspired by Aman New York. A Cigar Lounge sits alongside it, and the Private Dining Room seats gatherings of up to 10.
Aman Spa
Eight ocean-facing treatment suites, each with a private terrace and whirlpool bath, plus a hammam, a banya, a Medi Spa, a Beauty Lounge, a two-storey Japanese serenity garden, and a Yoga & Meditation Deck with two shallow Sea Pools port and starboard.
Where it sails
The Mediterranean
Spring 2027
Aman calls this the inaugural season. The published cruising grounds are Mediterranean Spain, the French Riviera, the Italian Riviera and Sicily, and the Adriatic, the Greek Islands and Turkey.
The Caribbean
Autumn 2027
The debut Caribbean season, across the Dutch Caribbean (Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao), the Leeward Islands (Saint Barthelemy, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saba, the British Virgin Islands, Anguilla) and the Windward Islands (Dominica, Saint Lucia, the Grenadines, Grenada).
Atlantic Passage
The ocean crossing between the two seasons, which Aman publishes as a destination in its own right — Málaga to Antigua by way of the Azores, long unhurried days at sea rather than a port each morning. We confirm dates and direction at enquiry rather than print them here.

Booking this line
Reserve early: a first season on a first ship sells on reputation alone, and the Aman Suite and the Grand Suites are the two categories that will go first. For most parties the Signature Suite is the sensible target — full-height windows, private terrace, no interconnecting compromise. Aman takes a deposit at booking with the balance due well before sailing. We hold the suite, handle the charter enquiry if you want the whole yacht, and build the days either side in Aman's hotels.
Questions, answered
What does the voyage fare include?
Suite accommodation with an on-demand Suite Host, twice-daily housekeeping, unpacking and packing, and daily laundry and pressing. All-day dining at Alira, in-suite breakfast on request, light bites and the Gelateria. Non-alcoholic drinks and beer, Starlink Wi-Fi, the marina and water toys, the pools, the Fitness Studio, the Cinema, the Youth Lounge and all onboard gratuities. Aman's list stops there — Akari, Hiori, the Aman Grill, spa treatments and Shore Experiences are not on it, Aman at Sea does not arrange air travel, and transfer rates vary by destination.
Which ship is this, and is she sailing yet?
One ship, Amangati, and no — she sails from spring 2027. Ninety-four guests in forty-seven suites across nine decks, designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, with a private terrace on every suite. Anything you read describing life aboard is a description of the plans, not a guest's account, because nobody has sailed on her.
Which suite should we take?
The Signature Suite is the honest default at 80.6 to 85.2 sq m, with full-height windows and a private terrace. Above it the Grand Suite runs to 102 sq m over two rooms, and the Aman Suite at 354 sq m has its own massage room and a terrace whirlpool. Families should look at the Premier and Deluxe categories, which Aman designs to combine into two- and three-bedroom accommodation.
When is the best time to go?
Spring 2027 in the Mediterranean is the inaugural season and the one people will want to say they were on. Autumn 2027 in the Caribbean is the quieter proposition and, for a first ship, arguably the safer one — the crew will have a season behind them. The Atlantic Passage between them runs Málaga to Antigua by way of the Azores, for people who want unhurried days at sea rather than a port each morning.
Why book Aman at Sea through an advisor?
A first season is a scarcity problem, not a price problem. We put the suite on hold while you decide, keep the deposit and payment dates in front of you, arrange the whole-yacht charter if that is the brief, and join the voyage to Aman's hotels either side so the trip reads as one journey. We confirm everything live before we quote.
