The Privata Perspective
The Astir Palace estate opened on this headland in August 1960 and reopened as a Four Seasons in March 2019 — thirty hectares of pine at Vouliagmeni, three private beaches and a saltwater pool. Meyer Davis did the interiors, Martin Brudnizki and K Studios the restaurants, Thomas Doxiadis the landscape.
Aspect and building decide the stay. Standard rooms sit at 40 or 44 square metres whichever wing you take, so the premium buys the outlook rather than the floor: Arion holds the pine-view and sea-view rooms, Nafsika carries 108 sea-view keys on its own, and sixty-one bungalows sit lower among the trees, some with a private pool. We quote sea-view first and treat pine-view as the saving.
We book it for families who want a beach base with Athens in reach, and for couples who want the Greek coast without an island transfer. May, June and September are the windows we push. Matsuhisa and Pelagos get reserved the day the room is confirmed, not on arrival.

The spa draws on the teachings of Hippocrates for its seasonal rituals and ancient remedies, and runs ten treatment rooms. Select services also go out to private water-side cabanas, pool loungers and guest rooms. Neither operator source publishes a floor area for it.
