The Privata Perspective

Park Lane is where Four Seasons' European story begins. The Inn on the Park opened on this site in 1970, the company's first hotel in Europe; the hotel reopened in January 2011 as Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane. The address is historic, everything inside it is not — 196 keys, 153 rooms and 43 suites, at the Hyde Park Corner end of Park Lane.

The room decides the rest. A Superior Room runs 25 m² and carries no view in its name; the Premier Park-View Rooms are the ones that put Hyde Park in the window, and the terrace categories are where the money starts to show. We book park-facing first.

We book Park Lane for clients who want Mayfair on the doorstep and a spa worth using — the tenth-floor rooftop, glass on all sides. April to June and September to October read best. Reserve Pavyllon London when the room is confirmed, not on arrival.
