Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico
A 483-acre resort on two miles of Puerto Rico's northeast sand, with Robert Trent Jones Jr.'s par-72 golf course on the property
The Privata Perspective
Four Seasons opened here in November 2025, not with a new building but by taking over an existing resort on Puerto Rico's northeastern coast and reworking it — Meyer Davis did the interiors before the doors opened. What it inherited is the argument: 483 acres in the Bahía Beach community, two miles of golden sand, two nature sanctuaries on the boundary, and Robert Trent Jones Jr.'s Bahia Beach Golf Club, par 72 over 6,890 yards.
Aspect decides the stay. The Garden-View Room at 674 square feet is the entry; the Oceanfront Room adds 67 square feet and the water, and on this beach that is the difference worth paying for. Above them sits the Governor Oceanfront Suite, the only 2,510-square-foot key in the house.
We book it for Americans who want the Caribbean without a passport, for golfers, and for families who will use the clay courts and water sports. December to April is the settled window and needs booking early; the summer and autumn months sit inside hurricane season.
Accommodations
Garden-View Room
674 sq. ft. 62.6 m²
The entry category, twenty-two of them; the same room with a balcony is the resort's largest single block at thirty-two keys
Oceanfront Room
741 sq. ft. 68.8 m²
Twelve of them, and the smallest step to the water — sixty-seven square feet more than the entry room, and a different holiday
Oceanfront One-Bedroom Suite
1,255 sq. ft. 116.6 m²
Eleven of them, with ten more carrying a balcony; the garden-view one-bedrooms are marginally larger on paper at 1,295 sq. ft.
Governor Oceanfront Suite
2,510 sq. ft. 233.2 m²
One only, and the largest hotel key in the resort — everything above it on the operator's table is a villa or a residence rental
