The Privata Perspective
Pamushana is Singita's only property region in Zimbabwe, and it works differently from the rest of the group. The lodge sits on a sandstone ridge above Malilangwe Dam inside a 115,000-acre reserve owned by a non-profit trust rather than a national park, so access is private and vehicle numbers stay low. It holds one of Africa's highest concentrations of black rhino.
Eight suites, each with its own plunge pool, drawing on the history of ancient Zimbabwe; the lodge reopened in July 2018 after a redesign that added two of them. Singita Malilangwe House alongside is a separate five-bedroom villa, exclusive-use only — not a room type of the lodge, though it is often described as one. Not for everyone: the logistics are real work, by charter or a thin scheduled service into Buffalo Range, and that is the main reason this reserve stays as quiet as it does.

In 2027 Singita Pamushana costs US$2,525 to US$3,320 per adult per night sharing a suite (US$2,395 to US$3,150 in 2026), including VAT, the tourism levy, all meals and drinks, and activities from game drives to fishing and sunset boat cruises. Malilangwe House costs US$16,115 to US$21,095 a night for up to six guests and US$18,700 to US$24,555 for seven to ten.
