Michelin's inspectors make the case in one line: some hotel brands lean into Dubai's glitz, and One&Only offers a soothing contrast to it. The Guide awarded the resort Two MICHELIN Keys in 2025 and kept that rating in its 2026 hotel selection. One&Only calls it a boutique beach resort. It sits at the far tip of Palm Jumeirah's West Crescent, its Andalusian architecture takes its cue from Moorish palaces such as the Alhambra, and it has gardens, a private beach and three pools. Dubai International Airport is about 45 minutes away by car.
The food is the reason to book it over a bigger beach resort. STAY by Yannick Alléno, French, holds two Michelin stars in the current Dubai guide and is known for its pastry library. Alléno's group is also behind 101, seafood with French-Mediterranean flair at the water's edge, for lunch, dinner or sunset cocktails, and Zest, the all-day restaurant, which serves Italian cooking and Neapolitan-style pizzas on a poolside terrace. The Guerlain Spa, the only one in the UAE, pairs Arabian rituals with French beauty expertise, and its courtyard of carved stone archways and water-edged walkways recalls Andalusia's palaces.
