The Privata Perspective
Naviva is the least hotel-like thing Four Seasons runs. Fifteen tented bungalows stand across forty-eight forested acres at the edge of the Punta Mita peninsula, adults only, thirty guests at capacity, and the rate carries everything — food and drink, a spa treatment per guest, daily rituals. It opened in December 2022 to a Luxury Frontiers design, sharing the peninsula with the full-service Four Seasons next door.
There are two categories and both face the ocean, so the choice is size. Ten Ocean-View Bungalows run to 116 square metres of indoor-outdoor space; the five Grands take 149 to 160. Every one has canvas walls that roll up, a private deck and a plunge pool. The Grands are worth the difference on a stay past three nights.
We book it for couples and for solo travellers who want the wellness side taken seriously, and never for families — it is adults only. November to April is the dry window. Rooms are few enough that dates decide the trip.

Spa & Wellness
Two cocoon-like spa pods sit hidden in the forest, each a private refuge. Alone or with a partner, five hours of treatments run in one flow — Copal cleansing ritual and scrub, Mayan mud massage, gemstone facial, warm bath. No spa size is published.
