Mara River Tented Camp is Singita's northern outpost: six tents on the Mara River in the Lamai, 98,000 acres at the northern tip of the Serengeti. It opens on 1 June and closes on 14 January, and it was relaunched in 2023 in olive greens and earth browns. Every tent has a private deck and a bathtub facing the river, and two are family tents for four.
The river is the reason to come. The migration's crossings typically run from July to October, peak season here runs from June to October, and with six tents the camp fills early for those months, so we start there when a guest asks for them. It takes guests aged ten and over, and arrivals come through the Serengeti Lamai airstrip, 45 minutes' drive from camp.
Singita Mara River Tented Camp rates per night, 2026 and 2027
In 2027 Singita Mara River Tented Camp costs US$2,355 to US$3,430 per adult per night sharing a tent (US$2,210 to US$3,220 in 2026), with all meals, drinks and game drives. A family tent is US$7,065 to US$10,290 a night for up to three guests. The camp is open from 1 June to 14 January, and park and concession fees are extra.
