Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok
An urban resort directly behind Siam Paragon: 397 rooms and suites in a circle around tropical gardens and saltwater pools, with a covered walkway into the mall and the BTS Skytrain a few minutes' walk away
The Privata Perspective
Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok opened on 27 September 2010 on grounds that were part of Sra Pathum Palace, directly behind Siam Paragon in Pathumwan. Its 397 rooms and suites are built in a circle around landscaped tropical gardens and saltwater pools, one of them for children, with a lotus motif in every room, 22 rooms that open straight onto the pools and seven animal-themed family suites. A covered walkway on the second floor leads into Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Discovery and CentralWorld are within a few hundred metres, and a complimentary golf cart runs to the BTS Skytrain at Siam. Sra Bua, the Thai fine-dining restaurant, reopened in 2026 as Sra Bua by Num Weerawat and is listed by the MICHELIN Guide among its selected restaurants.
Via Privata stayed two nights in a Premier Room in October 2026: 45 square metres in the low-rise Garden Wing, twin beds facing the garden trees and a renovated bathroom with a freestanding tub behind a glass wall. The room was fine, comfortable and well kept. The hotel also showed us a Cabana Pool Access room, a themed family suite, the Kids Club, the Executive Lounge and the spa. The location is the reason to choose it: for a stay built around Bangkok's shopping, it is hard to be better placed.
