Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok opened in October 2020 on Soi Tonson in Langsuan, inside Sindhorn Village, the Siam Sindhorn development that also holds the Sindhorn Kempinski and Velaa, the lane of shops and restaurants along Langsuan Road, a few minutes' walk from Lumphini Park. P49 Deesign did the interiors in Thai textiles, raw concrete and brass around the motif of the maa-lai, the Thai welcome garland; the site is generously planted, and pets stay free whatever their size. The hotel counts 360 keys, 97 of them serviced residences with a kitchen or a kitchenette, holds One MICHELIN Key and four Forbes stars, and its venues run from CRAFT and Stock.Room to the rooftop Bar.Yard and the one-star AVANT.
Via Privata stayed two nights in September 2026 in a Kimpton Suite and found the suite excellent, the food at Stock.Room and from room service very good, CRAFT an enjoyable stop, and the service friendly and relaxed. It is the relaxed choice among the Bangkok hotels we have reviewed: for design-minded guests, long stays, families in the residences and anyone travelling with a dog.

The infinity pool is on the third floor in the hotel's secret garden, tiled in dark green marble and open from six in the morning to ten at night, with cabanas, a sauna and steam rooms. The gym, on Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment with a Peloton bike, is open round the clock for guests, with complimentary classes, a HYROX Training Club and a Kimpton Run Club; amaranth spa offers massages, facials and body treatments daily from ten to ten, and every room has a yoga mat.
