Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City
An eight-storey hacienda-style hotel on Paseo de la Reforma built around a garden courtyard of fruit trees and Mexican folk art
The Privata Perspective
Four Seasons Mexico City stands at Paseo de la Reforma 500: eight storeys of hacienda-style building wrapped around a garden courtyard planted with fruit trees, tropical greenery and Mexican folk art. It opened in March 1994 and was renovated in 2015. Two hundred and forty keys: two hundred rooms and forty suites.
The floor plan matters less than usual here. Superior and Premier rooms are both 50 square metres, so the step up buys aspect rather than space, and the Deluxe category — 148 of the 200 rooms — is the house standard at 56. Only two Premier Terrace Rooms exist, and the courtyard is the quiet side.
We book it for clients pairing business on Reforma with Chapultepec and the Anthropology Museum, and for families who want one address in a city that sprawls. The dry months are the easy window. We ask for a courtyard-facing room at the time of booking, and reserve OMA's counter then rather than on arrival.

The Pacific-coast seafood room, and the first restaurant the operator lists
Il Becco
Italian fine dining
The hotel's Italian dining room, carried by both the portal and the press office
OMA
Japanese omakase
