The Privata Perspective
Two buildings hold one hotel. The tower on Posadas opened in April 1992; beside it stands La Mansión, completed in 1920 as a wedding gift from Félix de Álzaga Unzué to his bride, Elena Peña, and restored in 2007. The garden and the heated outdoor pool sit between them — 165 keys in total, 116 rooms and 49 suites, with no residences in the count.
The view line decides the stay. City-View and Mansion-View rooms are the same 40 m², and only one of them looks onto the 1920 palace and the garden below; ask for Mansion-View. Above that, the La Mansión suites are the ones where the building itself is the reason to come.
We book it for clients opening a South American trip in the city before Mendoza or Iguazú, and for anyone who wants Elena to be the point of the stay. Autumn and spring are the windows we quote.
