The Privata Perspective
Four Seasons runs two hotels in Bogotá, and this is the modern one. It opened in April 2016 on Carrera 13 in Zona T, with interiors by Lauren Rottet. Sixty-three keys — thirty-four rooms and twenty-nine suites — make it small for a city hotel of this rank, and the suite-heavy split is the point.
The category decides the stay. There are only five Superior Rooms at 27 square metres; the Grand Premier Room is the sensible standard at 34, and one of the twenty-two carries a 33-square-metre terrace. Sixteen Executive Suites at 36 square metres buy a sitting room in the footprint most hotels give a bedroom, and the single Penthouse Suite runs to 115.
We book it for clients who want a modern, low-key Bogotá base rather than the period rooms of Casa Medina, the other Four Seasons in town, and we book the drier months. Dining is thin here — one restaurant, La Biblioteca — so we plan the evenings outside the hotel.
