Landaa Giraavaru is the larger and wilder of the two Four Seasons islands in the Maldives — 103 villas across Baa Atoll, open since November 2006. Where Kuda Huraa is close to Male and easy to reach, Landaa is a seaplane away and built for people who intend to stay put.
Read the villa sizes the way the operator publishes them: an indoor figure plus a separate outdoor figure, never added together. A Sunrise Water Villa is 90 square metres indoors with 183 outdoors. The Four-Bedroom Landaa Estate is 800 indoors with 2,000 out, an 80-metre private beach and a 20-metre lap pool.
