Four Seasons Hotel Madrid
Seven restored historic buildings between Puerta del Sol and Barrio de las Letras, with a Martin Brudnizki rooftop and a four-level spa
The Privata Perspective
Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is seven historic buildings restored and stitched into a single hotel on Calle de Sevilla, between Puerta del Sol and Barrio de las Letras. It opened in September 2020, and that is the thing to hold onto: the facades are old Madrid, the two hundred keys behind them are new.
The category decides the stay here more than the address does. Superior and Deluxe rooms share the same footprint, so what you are choosing is aspect and whether the room opens onto anything. Twenty-four Deluxe Rooms carry a Juliet balcony, and only three Grand Premier Rooms and three Four Seasons Suites have a terrace. Those are the keys that go first.
We book it for clients who want a new hotel in old Madrid, with the Prado, the Thyssen and the Reina Sofia inside a walk. Spring and autumn are the sweet spots. Dani Brasserie and the spa should be reserved when the room is booked, not on arrival.
