Four Seasons Hotel Amman
On one of Amman's highest hills at the 5th Circle, where all 163 guest rooms share the same 485-square-foot footprint whatever the category
The Privata Perspective
Jordan's benchmark city hotel, and the address most itineraries pass through twice — once on the way to Petra, once on the way home. It opened in May 2003, with architecture by Page and Steele and interiors by Richmond International, standing on one of Amman's highest hills at the 5th Circle.
The room grid is the thing to understand before booking. Superior, Deluxe and Premium are all 485 square feet; the category buys a floor and an outlook, not more room. If space is the point, the move is into the suites — the Premier Suite roughly doubles it at 947 square feet, and there are only six of them in a house of 192 keys. Above them sits one Royal Two-Bedroom Suite, the largest key in the hotel.
We book it for clients doing Jordan properly, with Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea in between and Amman at both ends of the trip. Spring and autumn, when the whole country is comfortable.
