The Privata Perspective
Capella's newest completed hotel and the purest André Fu building in the collection — he calls it a modern mansion, and at 86 keys it behaves like one. The signature is the pool terrace, enclosed by a thirty-eight-metre white bougainvillea hedge with Taipei 101 rising behind it, and the Pool Terrace Rooms that open onto it with their own plunge pools.
It opened on 1 April 2025 and took Wallpaper*'s Best New Opening in the 2026 Design Awards. Five dining venues in a hotel this size is deliberate — Taipei is a serious eating city and Capella is not trying to keep you indoors, but it is trying to give you a reason to stay in on the first night.
