The newest Capella, opened on 10 February 2026, and the most unusual proposition in the collection: a 95-key all-suite hotel by the Paris studio Moinard Bétaille sitting inside the Galaxy Macau resort on Cotai. Every suite has its own indoor relaxation pool, and the four-bedroom penthouse runs to 698 sqm with a glass-walled infinity pool facing Hengqin.
It took a Forbes Five-Star on debut. Be clear about what this is: Cotai is reclaimed land and an integrated-resort environment, not the UNESCO historic centre — you are ten minutes from the old town by car, and the hotel is a quiet, sealed world within a very large and very unquiet one. That contrast is either exactly what you want or precisely what you don't.
