Airelles' first Maison outside France fills four historic buildings in a hectare of gardens on the Giudecca, across the lagoon from St Mark's Square. The Palladio, designed by Andrea Palladio in 1561, once housed the Zitelle Institute, where young noblewomen learned lace-making. Villa Frollo has been a Venetian address since 1677; the Conventino, once a refuge for noble widows, now holds the private villa; and the church of Santa Maria della Presentazione keeps its octagonal dome and frescoes. The hotel counts 17 rooms and 28 suites plus that three-bedroom villa, dressed in hand-painted frescoes, Rubelli and Fortuny fabrics and antique furniture.
Dining is the draw: Nobu's first Matsuhisa in Venice, with signature dishes and an omakase at dinner; abc Kitchens Palladio, Jean-Georges Vongerichten's first address in Italy, open from breakfast to dinner; Villa Frollo, where Norbert Niederkofler, whom Airelles calls 'triple Michelin-starred', cooks Venetian classics by candlelight; and desserts by Cédric Grolet, making his Italian debut. The Airelles Spa x Guerlain covers 1,700 square metres over three floors, in Airelles' words the largest wellness space in Venice.
We ask for the Prestige San Marco view or the Suite with View of St. Mark's ahead of the other categories, and keep the Suite del Doge, Villa Frollo's own suite with its view of St Mark's, for parties of up to eight adults. May–June and September–October sit either side of July and August, the warmest months, and in 2026 the Biennale Arte runs from 9 May to 22 November.

The Airelles Spa x Guerlain spreads over three floors and 1,700 square metres, which Airelles calls the largest wellness space in Venice, with 5 treatment rooms and the indoor Domus pool.
