137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok opened in early 2017 on Sukhumvit Soi 39 in Phrom Phong, the second hotel of the Wongphanlert family's 137 Pillars Hotels & Resorts after the restored 1889 teak house in Chiang Mai. Palmer & Turner designed the white tower, P49 Design & Associates the interiors and WabiSabi Studio the gardens. The lower floors are 179 serviced residences with kitchens, washer-dryers and balconies; the top six floors are the hotel, 34 suites of 70 to 127 square metres in four categories, each with a 24-hour butler, Baan Borneo Club on the 26th floor, sundowner drinks and round-the-clock use of the rooftop infinity pool, which residence guests may not use. A second infinity pool with a jacuzzi on the 27th floor, Nitra Serenity Centre, a 24-hour gym, a putting green and a driving range are shared by the whole building. The hotel is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World member and holds One MICHELIN Key.
Via Privata stayed two nights in July 2026 in an Ayutthaya Suite and found the suite very good, breakfast at Baan Borneo Club very good and the service good. The suite-or-residence choice is the booking decision here: a suite for the roof, the butler and the club, a residence for the kitchen and the longer stay.

Two infinity pools: the rooftop pool, open around the clock to hotel suite guests only, with cabanas and a 360-degree view, and the 27th-floor pool with a large jacuzzi for every guest, 07:00 to 22:00. Nitra Serenity Centre on the 28th floor, 10:00 to 20:00, works to a seven-pillars-of-wellness menu with Moringa Project products, the Sleep by Design and Nitra Raya signature treatments and a herbal steam; the 24-hour gym on the sixth floor has cardio machines and free weights with trainers on request, beside an outdoor putting green, a short driving range and a golf simulator, booked ahead and used with your own clubs.
