Four Seasons Hotel New York
I. M. Pei's 52-storey tower on East 57th Street, 219 keys of which 138 are junior suites, a new spa due in 2026
The Privata Perspective
The tower is the argument. I. M. Pei worked with Frank Williams on a 52-storey house rising 670 feet over East 57th Street, and that scale carries into the rooms. The hotel opened in June 1993, went dark for years, and came back in November 2024 with 219 accommodations: 17 studios, 138 junior suites, 59 suites and five specialty suites.
The category decides the stay. Seventy-one keys are Jr. Suite City View at 500 square feet, which is where most stays land, and the Manhattan Suite doubles that. Seven accommodations have private outdoor terraces, and the Central Park Suite with Terrace is the one to ask for by name.
We book it for clients who want Midtown certainty and floor space rather than period charm, and for families who need the second bedroom. Autumn and late spring are the windows. The Ty Warner Penthouse and the Royal Suite go early, so ask before the dates harden.
