The Privata Perspective
Four Seasons' first address on Mykonos is a 2026 opening rather than a conversion: a beachfront site on the south-east coast, on Kalo Livadi bay, twenty minutes by car from both the airport and Chora. Nicos Valsamakis drew the architecture, Wimberly Interiors the rooms, public areas and spa, Rockwell Group all three restaurants.
Ninety-four keys, and the entry categories sit unusually close together: Superior and Deluxe Sea-View are within a few square metres of one another, so choosing between them is not really a question of space. The step that matters is the One-Bedroom Sea-View Suite, ten of them at 93 to 98 square metres. Above those sit five villas, the three-bedroom Syros the largest key in the house.
We book Mykonos for couples and for families who want a beach rather than a port, and we book June or September ahead of the August crush. On a hotel in its first season we confirm the category in writing and check what has actually opened before anyone flies.
